India vs Australia, 2nd ODI, Live Streaming, Live Cricket Scores, IND vs AUS

India is going to take on Australia in a 7-match ODI series at home starting from 25 October 2009. Australia is confident after winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2009, while India would look to bounce back strongly against Australia in their attempt to compensate for their poor show in Champions Trophy. Australia can take inspiration from their previous ODI series in India as they clinched the 7-match ODI series 4-2.

Live Cricket Score

India's limited over performance in the recent past does not look pretty impressive. First of all, India was crushed out of ICC World Twenty20 2009 and then last month India failed to reach the last four of ICC Champions Trophy 2009. Naturally, Indian cricket fans are annoyed and now expecting a strong performance from team India.

The battle lines have been drawn between the teams and see them fight it out - nothing beats a day at the one day cricket!

The second ODI between India and Australia will be played on 28th October 2009 at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur.

India vs Sri Lanka | Compaq Cup Final Live Streaming | Live Cricket Scores | Ind vs SL

After seeing off New Zealand's timorous challenge, Sri Lanka and India will contest bragging rights in the Compaq Cup final. Sri Lanka hold the edge in the clash between two sides who generally don't do dull finals. The winners will go into the Champions Trophy in positive mood, leaving the loser to put salve on their injured pride.

Boosted by the return of Muttiah Muralitharan, Sri Lanka should be fielding their strongest side - Thilan Samaraweera remains a doubt - and an Indian team missing the experience of three big-match players will have its work cut out to be competitive. Sri Lanka trounced India in the dress rehearsal on Saturday and again proved that once they have a score on the board at the Premadasa, they defend it resolutely.

Sri Lanka have all the weapons they need in two brisk new-ball operators, a vicious slinger, and two spinners with an assortment of tricks. Each of those bowlers is capable, more so under lights, of denying batsmen the space and time to score. The support cast is no less impressive, with the ever-improving Angelo Mathews and India would do well to be wary of Sanath Jayasuriya, who sorted out a couple of New Zealand batsmen with his variations last week. On Monday, India could face the world's most potent spin attack, with Murali and Ajantha Mendis possibly back in tandem. There will be a few flashes of the Asia Cup final last year.

India's concern is the batting, particularly at the top. Dinesh Karthik may have just played his way out of the XI, despite MS Dhoni having twice spoken of how wary he is to stick young Virat Kohli in as opener. Sachin Tendulkar has got starts on two occasions, but most worrying is the form of Yuvraj Singh, who has struggled to start against pace and spin. He scratched around dreadfully in both matches. India's fielding was also rather shabby in the previous game.

India's only real hope is to put up a big total and then pressure Sri Lanka's batsmen into committing errors. Chasing against the likes of Murali, Mendis and Lasith Malinga is a difficult task at the best of times, and as India found out yesterday, the anaconda grip gets you eventually.

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, 2nd Test, Live Streaming, Live Cricket Scores, PAK vs SL

New Page 1

A seaming wicket and steaming hot conditions have forced Pakistan and Sri Lanka to delay naming their teams for the crucial second Test starting on Sunday.

Live Cricket Score

The hard, even-paced track at the P Sara Oval, livened up by the ongoing monsoon rains, was described by curator Aniruddha Polonowita as similar to the one at Galle where the first Test ended inside four days.

"It's a Galle-like wicket that will help the seamers at the start and then settle down in favour of the batsmen," Polonowita said.

"It will be best for batting on the second and third day, and there could be a bit of help for the spinners towards the end."

Sri Lanka won the first Test by 50 runs after a dramatic fourth morning when Pakistan, needing 97 runs to reach the target of 168, lost their last eight wickets for 46 runs to be bowled out for 117.

Another win for a decisive 2-0 lead in the three-match series will hand Sri Lanka their first ever Test series success at home against Pakistan.

Both Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara and Pakistan coach Intikhab Alam said a further inspection of the wicket and the prevailing weather -- rain has been forecast during the match -- was needed before the teams were finalised.

"We have a couple of options, like playing an extra fast bowler or not, but we will have a look at the deck on Sunday morning and decide," said Sangakkara.

"You always choose the team based on how the wicket will play. It looks a good one which should help both the batsmen and bowlers."

Alam said the oppressively hot and humid weather would force fast bowlers to bowl in short bursts, meaning the combination had to be carefully finalised for the must-win game for Pakistan.

"It is premature to say what our line-up will be," said Alam. "All I will say is these are trying conditions. It is definitely hotter here than Galle."

Sangakkara said the victory in the first Test had given his team a psychological advantage going into the match, but warned team-mates against taking another win for granted.

"When you win one, you always have that edge for the next game, but it's a new Test and a new start," he said. "What happened a week ago will really not matter when the first ball is bowled."

Sangakkara wanted an improved batting performance by his team after totals of 292 and 217 in the Galle Test.

"It is vital to have a big first innings score and very important that all 11 players contribute towards that."

Alam hoped Pakistan's batsmen had learnt from the mistakes they made in Galle, but was confident the series would not be conceded easily.

"It hurt to lose a game we dominated on the first three days and then gave it away in one session," the Pakistan coach said. "It was bad batting and we have to get it right this time.

"I have enough confidence that this group has the ability to fight back. Pakistan is known to come back when the chips are down. It all boils down to how quickly the boys have learnt from their mistakes."

1st ODI India vs New Zealand Live Score from Napier | Watch IND vs NZ Scorecard

New Zealand Cricket has announced the itinerary for the home series against India.

The Indian cricket team would play two Twenty20 internationals, five one-day internationals and two Tests on their first tour of New Zealand in six years starting in February. The tour would last from February 20 to April 7, 2009.

India will arrive in New Zealand on February 20 and will begin the tour with a Twenty20 international match in Christchurch on February 25 and ends with the final Test, from April 3-7, at the Basin Reserve in Wellington.

The one-day series would precede the short Test rubber.

India had a torrid time on their last trip in December 2002-January 2003, losing the two-Test series 2-0 and the seven-ODI contest 5-2. The visit came in the build-up to the World Cup in South Africa, where the Indian team, under severe pressure initially, made it to the final. Cold and damp conditions resulted in favourable conditions for bowlers, with neither Test lasting five days, and teams batting first often getting bowled out cheaply in the ODI series.

The 1st ODI between India and New Zealand will be played on 3rd March 2009 at McLean Park, Napier.

1st Test West Indies vs England Live Score from Bridgetown | Watch WI vs ENG Scorecard

The ECB has confirmed the itinerary for England's 2009 tour of the West Indies, comprising of four Tests, one Twenty20 international and a five-match ODI series, but denied that the schedule had been agreed with one eye on the IPL.

England will arrive in Barbados on Wednesday, January 21, where they will play two three-day warm up matches before moving to Jamaica for the first Test against West Indies at Sabina Park on Wednesday, February 4.

The teams then move onto Antigua, where the second Test will take place at Sir Vivian Richards stadium in North Sound, starting on February 13, and a two-day tour match, the details of which have yet to be confirmed, will be fitted in before the third Test in Barbados, starting on February 26. The fourth and final Test (March 6-10) will be played at Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad, with the same venue hosting the Twenty20 match less than a week later.

The tour concludes with the five-match ODI series, starting with two games in Guyana on March 20 and 22, closely followed by two more in Barbados, and the series finale in St Lucia on Friday, April 3.

England's recent tours of the Caribbean have generally started and finished five weeks later, which suggests that a window has been created to allow players from both squads to compete in the Englandn Premier League.

The fourth Test between West Indies and England will be played on 26th February 2009 at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.

1st Test Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Live Score from Karachi | Watch PAK vs SL Scorecard

Sri Lanka will split their tour to Pakistan over two legs in January and February, playing in total, three ODIs and two Tests. A gap in between of over two weeks thus paves the way for Sri Lanka to host a potential one-day series against India.

After much negotiation and tweaking of provisional itineraries, Sri Lanka will now arrive in Pakistan on January 18 to play three day-night ODIs, leave and then come back on February 14th to play two Tests.

The Tests will be played on February 21 and March 1 at Karachi and Lahore respectively.

The Karachi Test will be Pakistan's first five-day game since the third Test against India in Bangalore in December 2007. Legspinner Danish Kaneria is likely to make his first international appearance after a year on the sidelines - he is not a regular in Pakistan's limited-overs teams. It will also be the first assignment under recently-appointed captain Younis Khan, who replaced Shoaib Malik after the 2-1 loss to Sri Lanka in the ODIs, including an embarrassing 234-run defeat in the decider in Lahore.

The first Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played on 21st February 2009 at National Stadium, Karachi.

Duleep Trophy - Central Zone vs South Zone Live Score from Bangalore | Watch Duleep Trophy Live

The Duleep Trophy has long been the setting for many famous turnarounds in a player's fortune - Sourav Ganguly's road back to the national team started with an emphatic century in 2005 and Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi's 200 in 1967, after resigning as India captain, had his critics imploring him to remain leader of the national side. It remains so this season with a hectic year of cricket ahead and an Indian team in some transition.

The tournament opener at the Chinnaswamy Stadium has several fringe players hoping for a similar upturn, chief among those is South Zone's swing bowler Sreesanth. For a few Test regulars it is an opportunity to gain match practice ahead of the New Zealand visit, but VVS Laxman, the South captain, stressed he was focused on winning the tournament and was not treating the match as a warm-up for New Zealand.

The opening match of Duleep Trophy between Central Zone vs South Zone will be played on 22nd January 2009 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
